What Happened In Episode 8: Recap

Tokyo Revengers Season 2 episode 8 was titled “Strive Together.” The episode started with Takemitchi attacking Taiju Shiba. Takemitchi’s claim about taking over The Black Dragon makes Taiju very angry. Hakkai pleads with Takemitchi to back down as he is hurt very badly. However, Takemitchi refuses to give up.

Furthermore, Hakkai revealed his secret to everyone. Hakkai tells Takemitchi that he has lied about protecting Yuzuha. Instead, it was Yuzuha who had been protecting her younger brother. Hakkai states that because he has never stood against Taiju, He had no choice but to kill Taiju. 

Takemitchi calls Hakkai pathetic but refuses to give up on his friend. Mitsuya recalls running away from home because his life was not good. He motivates Hakkai to fight and protect his family.

Hakkai and Takemitchi fight against Taiju, while Mitsuya and Chifuyu take on Kokonoi and Inui. Meanwhile, Yuzuha is reminded of her childhood promise to her mother. Yuzuha has been protecting Hakkai as a promise to her mother. Taiju warns Hakkai that his gang members have surrounded the church.
