As we pray for Laura Lee Watts and her family during this difficult time, our thoughts are with them.
According to reports, the social media star’s 15-year-old daughter, who was extremely popular on the social media platform for her relatable beauty reviews and mom-related content, passed away unexpectedly.
Watts Announces The Death Of Her Daughter
Laura Lee Watts, a mainstay on TikTok for many years, recently announced that her daughter Savannah Watts had passed away at 15 after enduring years of dealing with epilepsy. In a video posted on Monday, February 13, the TikTok star and mother of three announced the heartbreaking news to her followers in a message she shared with them on her social media page.
The 33-year-old actress rose to fame on social media for her candid stories about her three children’s upbringing and the short family-oriented vlogs she shared on social media. Several fans paid emotional tributes to Savannah to show their support for Laura and her family as they mourned the loss of Savannah at such an early age.
Earlier this week, Laura shared a video with her followers in which she confirmed that Savannah is no longer with us after battling epilepsy since she was a child. Laura previously shared on her TikTok channel that Savannah was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was young, but unfortunately, as she grew up, her seizures worsened.
“I can not believe I’m making this video, and I’m going to do my best to get through it,” “Most of you know I have three children, and my oldest is Savannah,” Watt said in the heartbreaking video she shared with her viewers.
“She’s 15, and she has epilepsy. I know you guys loved her, so I wanted to let you know that yesterday morning, she had a fatal seizure and passed away. She was the most beautiful child I’ve ever known. Beautiful soul, the kindest heart. I don’t know how I’m going to live without her.” Laura said with a tear in her eye.
When Savannah Watts Was A Child, She Was Diagnosed With Autism
As far as Savannah is concerned, she suffers from Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, which is a severe case of epilepsy in which seizures start before a child reaches the age of four. Laura revealed in a video posted in August 2021 that Savannah was diagnosed with this medical condition around three or four. With Savannah’s advancing age, her seizures grew more severe over time, and their frequency increased as she grew up.
“Her neurologist and I always hoped that she would outgrow it as she went through puberty, but she did not — it just got a lot worse. She has different types of seizures, and it’s tough to control, so you never know when she will have a seizure.” As she explained in the video, Laura has different types of seizures.
Watt’s Followers Pay Tribute To Her Daughter
The comment section of Laura’s video of Savannah’s last days was filled with tributes to Savannah and heartfelt condolences from many of her followers. In a TikTok video, fellow celebrity Dylan Mulvaney said: “I am so sorry for your loss Laura Lee. I am sending you a blanket of love.”
Another fan also wrote: “I am so sorry, Laura. I’ve been a silent follower for years, and all I want to do is give you a hug. Prayers to you and your family during this hard time.”
“I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve been following you guys for the past two years. I’ve loved watching her grow into a beautiful woman. RIP Savannah.” Another follower wrote in response to Savannah’s passing.
