What to Expect from Mayor of Kingstown Season 2 Finale?
In the final episode, Mike is scheduled to meet with Iris, but Milo might also be present at the meeting. However, Mike has a plan and will probably complete the transaction, outsmarting Milo and leading to his arrest by the police.
Ian’s cover-up of Ben’s death will be another plot point in the final episode, as a witness might have seen the killing, and Ian could face arrest. Mike may need to help save Ian from facing a sentence.
Additionally, Kyle may decide to leave Kingstown with Tracy for a fresh start away from their criminal history. Robert will be seen recovering in the hospital, but Bunny’s men might launch another attack to finish what they started.
Will there be a Mayor of Kingstown Season 3?
Paramount+ has not yet officially announced the renewal of the show for a third season. However, the second season was confirmed a few days after the conclusion of the debut season. The same trend can be expected for the third installment as well.
Moreover, the show’s star Jeremy Renner suffered a major accident at the beginning of the year and is still recovering. So expect the filming of the next season to be delayed by a few months, even if it is renewed in the upcoming weeks.
Apart from Renner, the show also stars Taylor Handley as Kyle McLusky, Tobi Bamtefa as Bunny Washington, Hugh Dillon as Ian Ferguson, Dianne Wiest as Mariam McLusky, Emma Laird as Iris, Hamish Allan-Headley as Robert Sawyer, Aidan Gillen as Milo Sunter, Nishi Munshi as Tracy McLusky and Derek Webster as Stevie.
The synopsis for the show reads, “Kingstown, Michigan is a company town where the business is incarceration. The McLusky family have been keeping the peace in Kingstown for decades, acting as the moderators between the street gangs, prisoners, guards, and cops.”
