Knock at the Cabin Trailer Hints at An Apocalyptic Situation
So, imagine this, you are away for the weekend with your family or friends, spending a nice exotic vacation in the middle of a jungle in a cute cabin. Suddenly, a group of people comes running for your life asking you to sacrifice in the name of saving humanity?
Sounds convincing? Well, this is what happens in M. Night Shyamalan’s Knock at the Cabin where we get introduced to a loving couple spending their vacay time in the jungle when their family time gets destroyed.
The newly released trailer shows four armed people showing at the cabin’s door to make the family make the biggest sacrifice of their lives.
The film is based on author Paul Tremblay’s 2018 horror novel ‘The Cabin at the End of the World’, the trailer takes us in a remote cabin, with Andrew and Eric spending a vacation with their only daughter Wen.
Although they’re on their family vacation away from the city, four strangers come knocking on their cabin door, demanding an unthinkable choice to counteract the end of the world by picking who among them can be sacrificed.
The family has to make a decision under the condition that if they say no, hundreds of people will die. As Leonard in the movie said, “No one’s allowed to leave until there’s a decision.” When someone says no he dies.
