Kellyanne Conway and George Conway plan to divorce after 22 years of marriage
Kellyanne and George have decided to go their separate ways after 22 years of marriage. The two of them are heading in the direction of divorce now. Beltway insiders have told the media outlet Page Six that both of them have lawyered up and that the two parties are spilling the details of their split.
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, Kellyanne first served as a campaign advisor to candidate Trump during the 2016 elections. Later on, she was his campaign manager, while her husband co-founded the Lincoln Project with the express purpose of keeping Trump out of the White House.
Post the inauguration, she became the senior counselor of the former President of the United States Donald Trump. At that point, Kellyanne’s husband George didn’t miss a single opportunity to blast Donald on social media.
In the year 2022, Vanity Fair wrote that “One of the greatest mysteries of the 21st century is the marriage of Kellyanne Conway and her husband, George — specifically, if they hate each other as much as their public commentary would suggest, or if the whole thing is some kind of three-dimensional chess designed to further their own interests.” Now it seems like the mystery has been solved.
When did Kellyanne Conway and George Conway get married?
Kellyanne and George tied the knot in the year 2001. The couple shares a total of four kids: daughters Claudia Conway, Charlotte Conway, Vanessa Conway and son George Conway. The two of them had a lot of political differences during the Trump administration and that even took a toll on their relationship.
In her 2022 memoir named Here’s the Deal, Kellyanne stated that she considered George’s steady barrage of criticism of the then-president a betrayal of their marriage, and even described it as cheating by tweeting. In addition to this, she also mentioned that Ivanka Trump had suggested couples therapy.
Around the same time, Trump himself tweeted about George and said, “I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!” Soon after, Kellyanne came forward and defended his post by saying that it was part of Trump’s famous flair for “punching back.” She also went on to say that her husband had suggested her boss was mentally ill without justification.
