John Schneider’s wife Alicia Allain has passed away at 53
As per an online obituary, John Schneider’s wife, Alicia Allain, left for the heavenly abode on February 21, 2023, Tuesday at the age of 53. She took her last breaths while surrounded by her family.
John confirmed the news of his wife’s death on Facebook. He shared two snaps on his Facebook page. In the first one, his wife Alicia can be seen smiling and giving a thumbs up. The second photo showed John holding her hand with their wedding rings front and center.
The Smallville actor started by writing, “My beautiful Smile is pain free, living in her new body alongside Jesus. Please respect our privacy during this time of grief. Please do not ask any questions.”
John went on to say, “If you have any pictures of us and our obvious love and adoration for each other, please post them below. Lastly… hug those you love tight and let them know how you feel. We always did.”
As of this moment, the exact cause of Alicia’s death is unknown, however, it has been reported that she had been struggling with cancer for a long time. A private funeral will be held.
John Schneider has opened up more about the grief he is experiencing after his wife Alicia’s death
Almost a day after announcing the passing of his wife Alicia, John talked about the grief he was experiencing. He said, “This is a time of unimaginable sorrow for me. Grief is much too small a word. I’ve heard [it] said that ‘with great love comes great sorrow.”
He further added, “I had no idea what that meant until now. Alicia was the fuel that ran my biggest dreams. The inspiration behind every creative thought. The very fabric of my soul. The glue that held me together. I miss her more than any words could possibly describe.”
Schneider continued, “Pain is too small a word. Grief is too small a word. Love itself is too small a word. Thank you for your thoughts, concerns and prayers. Continue to post the glorious photos you captured of my Smile and I changing our world and sometimes yours, one kiss at a time because those images help.”
