The country singer announced on social media that she and her partner will be welcoming another kid later this year as they navigated this major life adjustment.
The probable split between Jimmie Allen and his wife Alexis Gale has been confirmed. On Friday, the musician, 37, announced the news to his followers on Instagram. He also said that he and Gale, 27, will be expecting a child together later in 2023.
Allen, 37, wrote in a letter that “Lex & I have made the choice to split after much thinking and reflection in recent months. We can also announce that we will be welcoming another child together later this year while we negotiate this life change.
We remain committed to co-parenting with love and respect for one another and making sure that our children are healthy, happy, and cherished will always be our top concern. We kindly ask for your privacy at this time due to our expanding family.

Gale shared the same assertion on her personal Instagram page.
Allen is a father to son Aadyn from a prior relationship as well as daughters Zara James, 17 months, and Naomi Bettie, 3, whom he shares with Alexis. Allen’s new competition show, My Kind of Country, is currently streaming on Apple TV+.
At the ACM Awards the previous year, the singer told Entertainment Tonight’s Cassie DiLaura that he and his wife “feel outnumbered” by their children.
“It’s a significant jump from two to three. It’s cool, we adore ’em, and we’re truly grateful for our children,” he remarked. Allen responded immediately when asked if he might consider having more children, “Oh, I am done.”
In a later episode of PEOPLE’s podcast PEOPLE Every Day, Allen provided more context for his remarks about “retiring” from having more children.

In regards to sticking put with three kids, Allen stated that it was [Alexis’] idea. “Because, you know, guys, when it comes to babies, we got the fun part: women have to carry the baby. deliver the infant. Additionally, because she has previously stated to others that she enjoys giving birth, her pregnancy is typically difficult.

Allen and Gale, who are both Milton, Delaware residents, started dating in the spring of 2019 after connecting through a relative. They got engaged that summer.
The Lake House Inn in Perkasie, Pennsylvania served as the location of the couple’s official nuptials on May 27, 2021. However, the couple later admitted to PEOPLE that they had secretly wed on Allen’s birthday in June 2020.
