Demon Slayer is one of the most-watched anime in the world. After two successful seasons and two captivating films, the dark fantasy series returned with its third season recently and has once again impressed fans with its action and thrills.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 5: Release Date and Time
Demon Slayer season 3, episode 5 will be aired in Japan on Sunday, May 7th at 11:15 pm JST. Crunchyroll will be simulcasting the episode for international viewers on May 7th at 7.15 am PT / 9.15 am CT / 10:15 am ET.
As of now, viewers can only watch the subbed episode, with subtitles available in English, French, German, and a variety of other languages. The English-dubbed episode will be released at a later date, which has not been announced yet.

What to Expect from Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 5?
The upcoming episode is titled Bright Red Nichirin Sword. A synopsis for the episode has been unveiled which teases what to expect. It reads, “Tanjiro rushes to the aid of the struggling priestess, and the two fight back and forth, but then both of them are knocked unconscious by a fan attack from Karaku.”
“At the same time, the village is on the verge of crisis when a swarm of goldfish demons attack the swordsmiths one after another. Hearing the news, Kanroji Mitsuri sets out to rescue the village,” it reads further.
In the previous episode, Muichiro Tokito defeated a fish demon by finding its power source. While Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko, and Genya Shinazugawa fought their own battles, Muichiro saved Kozo from a fish demon and faced Upper Moon 5, Gyokko.
Gyokko then trapped Muichiro with his Demon’s Blood Demon Art, revealing Twelve Kizuki’s plan to weaken demon slayers and reach Kagaya Ubuyashiki. Meanwhile, Mitsuri Kanroji rushed to the Swordsmith Village to help her comrades.
Which Arc is Demon Slayer Season 3 Based On?
The ongoing season is based on the Swordsmith Village Arc of the manga series. The description for the season reads, “Tanjiro’s journey leads him to the Swordsmith Village, where he reunites with two Hashira, members of the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen – Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji.”
“With the shadows of demons lurking near, a new battle begins for Tanjiro and his comrades.” Crunchyroll recently revealed the English voice cast for the season, which includes Zach Aguilar as Tanjiro Kamado, Abby Trott as Nezuko KamadoAleks Le as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Billy Kametz as Rui, Brook Chalmers as Sakonji Urokodaki and Doug Erholtz as Kasugai Crow.
