BTS’s J-Hope Joins The Louis Vuitton Family As A Global Ambassador

February 27, 2023 by Bunny Baba

K-pop band BTS’s J-Hope, also known as Jung Hoseok, is the latest celebrity to join the Louis Vuitton family as a global ambassador. His selection into the prestigious fashion house is unsurprising, given his immense popularity among K-pop fans worldwide.

J-Hope will join the ranks of celebrities like Emma Stone, Jennifer Connelly, and Alicia Vikander, who have all previously been ambassadors for Louis Vuitton. With this new collaboration, he joins an elite group of people who have represented such a famous brand in recent years.

It’s Official! J-Hope Is Louis Vuitton’s New ‘House Ambassador’

J-Hope is the third member of BTS to sign a lucrative luxury brand deal in recent months after Suga and Jimin. In addition, he has been named the newest ambassador of Louis Vuitton, and he will represent the brand in the future.

This isn’t a massive surprise to the BTS ARMY since J-Hope was recently spotted at Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2023 Menswear Show in Paris. But unfortunately, this collaboration between Louis Vuitton and the boy band was terminated after it was first announced in 2021.

J-Hope has been praised by the French fashion house, which said in its press release that he is one of the world’s biggest icons, captivating fans with his upbeat energy, precise choreography, and creative musical direction. The brand also stated that the star had left no stone unturned when it came to pushing the boundaries of his artistic expression and inspiring audiences worldwide.

It was announced on Friday (February 24) that he would join the luxury firmly in a newly created role. In its introductory statement, Vuitton described BTS as “21st-century pop icons” and said that J-Hope “brings his unique style and charm to this exciting upcoming chapter with the Maison.”

As part of Louis Vuitton’s announcement, J-Hope has been wearing the label’s clothing in two striking glimpses. Luca Toni looks stunning in LV’s jackets embossed with the brand’s logos, proving that we’re super stoked about this collaboration with the K-pop sensation.

The lawsuit news was broken on Twitter by Louis Vuitton, who wrote, “#jhope for #LouisVuitton.” The brand is delighted to announce that internationally acclaimed rapper, singer-songwriter, and music producer will join as a House Ambassador.

Parisian Louis Vuitton Show Featuring J-Hope In Camouflage

During Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2023 Menswear Show, J-Hope stood out with the bold camouflage look that made him stand out. His outfit consisted of a zip-up jacket worn over a matching shirt, and he wore matching trousers in the same pattern as his jacket.

A signature monogram print on each piece’s front was a Louis Vuitton trademark. The look was further accentuated by burgundy sneakers paired with the outfit. As evidenced by the K-pop star’s recent outing, it’s apparent that he’s more than just a trendsetter. He’s a true fashion icon.

About J-Hope
