Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band have postponed their Columbus, Ohio show! The American singer, songwriter, and his rock band E Street’s concert set to place on March 9 at the Nationwide Arena has been postponed “due to illness.”
For those of you who are unaware, let us share with you, the E Street band consists of guitarists Steven Van Zandt, Nils Lofgren, and Patti Scialfa, keyboardists Danny Federici and Roy Bittan, bassist Garry Tallent, drummer Max Weinberg, and saxophonist Clarence Clemons. Why did Bruce Springsteen and E Street band postpone their Ohio show?
As per USA Today, on Thursday, the Nationwide Arena took to their respective social media handles to inform the people that Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band will not be able to perform in Columbus, Ohio.
The statement read, “Due to illness, tonight’s Bruce (Springsteen) and The E Street Band concert at Nationwide Arena has been postponed. We are working on rescheduling the date so please hold on to your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled show.”

As of this moment, it has not been revealed which member of the E Street Band is sick. Hopefully, the group will disclose the name of the person afflicted in the times to come. As of yet, Bruce Springsteen has also not made an official comment on the whole matter.
In the last couple of months, several members of the popular rock band such as Steven Van Zandt, Nils Lofgren, Jake Clemons, and Soozie Tyrell have missed shows on the current tour due to Covid-19. Up until now, the variant of Covid-19 that has been running through the band has not resulted in any long-term issues.
