The cameras started rolling once again in January 2022 and the filming finally wrapped on March 24.
Here are the details of all the locations where Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has been shot:
Some sequences of the film were shot in the city of Brunswick in Georgia. The cast and crew were spotted filming at 10 F Street around Mary Ross Waterfront Park. The place was utilized to shoot some underwater scenes, and many fans also saw a 300-foot cruise ship being used to record the acts.
The waterfront also comprises the Liberty Ship Memorial Plaza, an amphitheater, an outdoor musical playscape, and a farmers market. Brunswick is an important port city and the second-largest urban region on the coast of Georgia.
A major portion of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was filmed in Atlanta, the capital and the most populous city of Georgia. The cast and crew reportedly shot at the Trilith Studios at 461 Sandy Creek Road in the city. Initially named Pinewood Atlanta, the studio comprises 24 different stages.
The studio also has facilities like workshops, offices, back-lots and 400 acres of landscapes, which make it ideal for shooting different projects. Atlanta is known as the city of forest and houses the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
The film’s team set up a camp around the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at 77 Massachusetts Avenue in the city of Cambridge to shoot a number of scenes. The taping was done outside Stratton Student Center and Simmons Hall in the institute.
Cambridge is the fourth most populous city in Massachusetts, which was named after the University of Cambridge in England. The city is known for its museums, historic buildings, and world-class universities.
Worcester and Boston, Massachusetts
Apart from Cambridge, the crew also taped the scenes in some other cities in Massachusetts, including Worcester and Boston. A car chase scene was reportedly filmed in Worcester’s Ernest A. Johnson Tunnel in August 2021. Another chase sequence was shot on The Harvard Bridge that connects Boston with Cambridge.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
In March 2022, the team traveled to San Juan, the capital of Puerto Rico, to shoot the final schedule of the film. Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Casino in Avenida Los Gobernadores in Carolina was particularly used as the production site.
The country of Puerto Rico is known for its history and culture, serene beaches, casinos and nightclubs. The place also comprises some Spanish colonial buildings and massive fortresses.
