Billie Eilish has made it clear that she would not let obsessive fans invade her privacy. The pop star has faced several intruding events lately, the most recent being just last week, when she caught a shirtless man lurking outside her Los Angeles home.
The 21 year old immediately sought a restraining order against the man, which has now been granted by the court. As per the temporary restraining order, the stalker, named Raymond Black, has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the singer and her home.
Billie Eilish Granted Temporary Restraining Order Against Shirtless Intruder
As per the official documents, a Los Angeles judge has ordered Black to stop harassing Eilish. He has also been instructed not to go to the house of the singe’s parents, Maggie and Patrick. Granting the temporary restraining order, the judge stated it was based on ‘a credible threat of violence or stalking.’
The staling incident took place on Monday night. At the time, Eilish reached her home and found Black standing outside her living room window as she switched on the lights. The intruder, who was shirtless, gazed at the singer through the window glass. Eilish freaked out and called 911.
The police then began a search operation and found Black in the nearby area. He was arrested on the spot. While reviewing her home security footage, Eilish noticed that the stalker had walked around her house earlier in the day and even taken an outdoor shower after taking off his clothes.
The Singer Got a 5-Year Restraining Order Against Another Intruder Last Month
The development comes just a month after Eilish was granted a 5-year restraining order against 39-year-old Christopher Anderson, who had broken into her family home several times. Apart from Billie, her parents and brother, Finneas, also got protection against the intruder.
The order said that Anderson should stay at least 100 yards away from Eilish, her family, and their home. He was also ordered not to contact her on social media and to stay away from her vehicle and workplace. Failing to comply with the order would result in his immediate arrest.
Anderson reportedly visited the Copycat singer’s native home in Los Angeles five times in the month of December. He confessed his love for her, despite having never met her. At the beginning of this year, he was arrested for trying to break into the property by jumping over a fence.
Eilish Previously Revealed that She Doesn’t Feel Safe at Her Family Home Anymore
Owing to the multiple intruding incidents, Billie revealed that she does not feel safe at her family home. In an interview, she also disclosed that she had to hire a guard to sleep in her living room when her address leaked on social media in 2019.
“I completely don’t feel safe in my house anymore, which sucks. I love my house. I’ve loved attention my whole life, but I don’t think anyone knows what fame actually is. Because if I did want to be famous, it wasn’t this kind,” she said, opening up about the dark side of fame.
