One of the most awaited awards of the year, the 76th British Academy Film Awards, took place on February 19 to celebrate the best of British and international cinema. The event was held at the Royal Festival Hall at the Southbank Centre in London.
Academy Award-nominated actor Richard E. Grant hosted the ceremony, with television personality Alison Hammond handling the backstage anchoring. Read on to know the full list of winners.
BAFTA Awards 2023 Winners
German language film All Quiet On The Western Front, which went with the most number of nominations, dominated the awards night with seven wins. The film swept all the major categories, including Best Film, Adapted Screenplay, Best Director, Best Cinematography, and Best Film Not In The English Language.
Martin McDonagh’s The Banshees of Inisherin followed with four trophies, including Outstanding British Film. Austin Butler won the leading actor award for Elvis, and Cate Blanchett bagged leading actress for Tar. Here is the complete list of winners:
