1923, the Western drama which premiered on Paramount+ in late 2022, has gone on to become a huge success for the streaming platform. While the show was launched as a prequel to Yellowstone, it was able to create its own place in the audience’s hearts.
The show, set in the decade when the country struggled with Prohibition, drought, and the Great Depression, follows a generation of the Dutton family navigating through hardships while keeping a hold of their ranch.

Who has Curated the Soundtrack?
1923 soundtrack has been curated by Brian Tyler, an acclaimed composer who has also worked on its predecessors Yellowstone and 1883. Tyler has had a 24 year long career and has composed for several films, TV shows, and video games.
Some of his famous works include Transformers: Prime, Eagle Eye, Constantine, The Expendables trilogy, Rambo, Iron Man 3, Avengers: Age of Ultron with Piotr Olszewski, Final Destination 5, Now You See Me, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Crazy Rich Asians, Thor: The Dark World, and seven installments of the Fast & Furious franchise.
In 2017, he collaborated with Tom Morello and Kill The Noise by his stage name Madsonik to contribute to the soundtrack of XXX: Return of Xander cage. He was also hired to write the new theme for Formula One in 2018. The track was also used in Formula 2 and Formula 3 in 2019.
The composer also won several accolades, including Fangoria Chainsaw Award for Best Score for the 2001 psychological thriller. For his work in 1883, Tyler received a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series.
He also earned a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for Transformers: Prime and was nominated for Best Original Score for a Video Game or Interactive Media at the International Film Music Critics Award for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
